2008 Alumni Members

Hanes, a very long-legged Yorkie Mix was rescued from the Castaic Shelter and is now living in Murietta, CA

Darryl, a Basenji Mix was rescued from the North Central LA Shelter.  He has a persistent case of demodex mange, which took a long time to clear up but it did and he was placed in San Diego, CA

Timmy, a Chihuahua mix, was rescued from the euthanasia list at the North Central LA shelter, where he ended up due to shelter over crowding.  He now has a wonderful family who love him dearly.

Dougal, a Terrier Mix, was rescued from the Riverside shelter, after he was found by Animal Control tied up to a fence at an abandoned house.  He was left like that with his sister and Mother also bound and would have died if they had not been discovered by a suspicious neighbour.  He is now loved by a wonderful family.

Louie Hamish was rescued from the Riverside Shelter when he was three months old.  He is a Brussels Griffon X Chihuahua mix and is very much loved by his family in Placentia, BA

Trudy was rescued from the Riverside Shelter and is now living in North Tustin with a fabulous English Bulldog named Simon with whom she plays and hangs out

Fabio, a teeny-tiny 4-lbs Apple Headed Chihuahua was rescued from the Downey Shelter

Waffles, a long-haired Chihuahua was rescued from the Downey Shelter and now lives with a fur-sister Roxie.

Merlin, a plush Chihuahua, was rescued from the San Bernardino City shelter with what was though kennel cough but turned in to distemper.  He was successfully nursed through it but retained some neurological damage, so he was inducted in to the OCPH team.

Dior was rescued from the Harbour LA Shelter, where he was surrendered by his Owner.  He had been abused and suffered a broken leg and was severely malnourished but through all he retained a wonderful personality.  He is now living in San Diego and much cherished

Simon was rescued from the Harbor LA shelter where he had been turned in by his Owners.  He was deaf.  It look him some time but he found the right home and is now living happily in Lake Elsinore.

Oliver, renamed Poomah, was rescued from the Harbour Shelter and is now living happily in Laguna Beach, CA

Duchess, a pure-breed Standard Dachshund was rescued from the Harbour Shelter and turned over to a breed-specific rescue for placement.

Ritchie Rich, a Rat Terrier Mix, was rescued from the Harbor LA Shelter with a severed case of demodex mange. It took him five months to recover as his kennel cough had turned in to a mild case of pneumonia.  He also missed the critical dog socialization period and needed extensive training to be able to mingle with other dogs.  He was successful placed with an experienced dog owner and is living in Orange, CA.

Jasper, a Jack Russel Mix, who was surrendered to our rescue as he was not suitable as a service dog for which he was being trained,  was successfully placed with a couple in Chino Hills, CA

Jaegar, a Tan & Rust Min Pin, was rescued from the San Bernardino City shelter.

Cheddar, a Terrier mix, now renamed Lovey, was rescued from the Downey shelter.

Sophie, a Schnauzer mix, was rescued from the Downey Shelter

Maddie, a Long Haired Chihuahua, was rescued from teh San Bernardino City Shelter

Spike and Buffy were Owner Surrenders as their Owner had lost their home but we were able to successfully reunite them after 3 months when he found work and could reclaim his fur-family.

Finnigan (Finny to his friends) was rescued from the San Bernardino City shelter where he had been confiscated due to neglect by his previous Owners.  He is now living happily in San Clemente

Murphy, a Shih Tzu, was rescued from the San Bernardino City Shelter and is now living in Huntington Beach, CA
